At Oldeways period joinery we pride ourselves with being able to produce traditional or modernhardwood doors to match any Period Property. Whether restoring a rural stone cottage or the most ornate town house or your modern property we can supply the right choice of door and so conserve the character of your property. Using skills and methods which have passed the test of time we can offer you true quality. We’re proud not only of our unique service and high level of craftsmanship, but we also source only the finest sustainable timber and materials for our projects, weather its Sapelle Mahogany, European Oak or other hardwoods we can produce the right door for your project weather we are making and exact copy of the doors on your Listed Building or new doors to compliment your period property or the doors on your new build project. We are very conscious of security so all our door sets are fitted with hi-load hinges and two 5 leaver insurance spec locks.
All of our doors come as doors sets which include your door pre hung in the frame in our workshop with locks fitted.
We try to incorporate modern improvements where we can and so all of our door sets come with seals fitted into the frame, hi-load hinges and two 5 leaver mortise locks.
We can also pre-finish your new door set if required.

If you have a listed building are skilled craftsmen will match your door exactly copying mouldings and sections so that you have an exact copy of your original door? We can also advise you on what is acceptable and plan your doors for your local conservation officer’s approval.
If you have a period property that is not listed we can produce your door set to compliment your property but also incorporate all the high speck insulation requirements that Part L of the building regulations require.
If you have a modern property we can work with you to design something individual to you and meeting Part L of the building regulations
