Set up in 1997 by Jason Macleod MIOC LICG, a Master Joiner with over 25 years experience working on heritage projects throughout Europe and America. Oldeways are recognised by various conservation organisations for the production of Period Joinery to cover a range of needs and also the organisations that cover Part L of the current building regulations, The Glass and Glazing Federation, Fensa, The British Woodworking Federation and The Institute of Carpenters.
Jason also spent time lecturing Carpentry and Joinery at Moulton College, Northamptonshire and is a big supporter of training and the future of our craft and so Oldeways works with the CITB employing a new apprentice every two years and also with Connect offering work experience through local schools. In 2010 our apprentice Tom Dryden won the East Midlands Skill Build competition which reflects the level of training and experience that is gained working with such a highly skilled team.
